I'm performing some research work into the behaviour of liquid filled structures when subjected to impact loads. I'm hoping to develop a methodology for assessing the effects of liquid borne shocks and liquid pressurisation/depressurisation on the dynamic loads experienced by the containment structure. Does anybody know of any relevant literature covering test data and/or modelling techniques ?
