Salaries in CFD

Hi there, I'm doing research into salaries in the CFD industry. Anybody got any sources of info that would help me.

I work in the field. I am still attending university part-time while working full time. I am working on an undergraduate degree. I am making $70,000/yr canadian. I think that I am underpaid.

I am post-doctoral in cfd field in an usa university. my salary is only $2,2000/yr. sigh. it's unfair compared to IT employee!!

I assume a of the shelve list of CFD salaries will not be available. You should compile it yourself by setting up an anonymous internet questionnaire that categorize, qualification, industry/academia, years of experience, type of experience (code developer/support/calculations), country, salary in USD/EURO. To compare apples with apples you should on the salary issue take something like cost to company minus medical aid and pension contributions, as some are contributing large amount to these funds and other in welfare states almost nothing.
