multi-fluid

Hello

How to simulate the multi-fluid situation, for example the spread of oil on sea-water where three fluid i.e. sea water, oil & air co-exists and one fluid influences another.

Waiting for your reply

Re: multi-fluid

Front tracking, VOF, Level set, all can do. But since oil floats on the water, and many particular factors play role, there must exits a simplified mathematical model. A general methods listed above may not be effective. Do a search first.

fluid

Hello (I am Argentina)I want to know about viscosity of fluid. specially the influece of the weight and the radio on the fluid.

hi, I think your should make clear situation:

1. What are values of surface tensions fluid1-air, fluid2-air, fluid1-fluid2.

2. Is your surface infinite - notice, that oil on water can form monomolecular layer

3. What do your know about surface kinetic?
