Hi there,
I'm using CFD to analyse a new development building site using typical atmospheric boundary layers, once this has been conducted I can find the local velocities at head level around my the new development for the average wind speed and direction for that location, I was wondering if anyone can direct me to the 'Lawson Model' for calculating pedestrian comfort from these figures, the report is called The Determination of the Wind Environment of a Building Complex Before Construction, T.V. Lawson, Bristol University 1990, can anyone help in this regard? Thanks in advance -roger |

I know the one you mean but I don't have an idea for the location of the text on the web. Interestingly how will you take into account the gust effects of the wind upon the comfort criterion ?? Dave
