Hi I need a function for node stretching in two sides of a line. Would any body can refer me to a source (prefer accessible on the net) to find it. Any comment is appreciated. Thanks.

There are many ways to do that. you can use any function for example a parabolic function and choose your dx based on that. I have put a file in my homepage using hyperbolic tangent stretching. This can cluster either on any one of the sides, at the center, or at both the sides (which is what you want).
