Meshing Error !!!

Default Meshing Error !!!

hello

I got an Error saying "Non positive Volumes Exist, Grid Check Failed " while doing a grid Check in Fluent. why is this happening ?? and wht should i do to get the error out ?

Check the volume of the cells in the tool, where you created them. Probably you have some bad quality cells somewhere. Hex or tet mesh? Any edges defined with zero lenght?

Hi,

Yes, the connectivity of the mesh might be poor. Also, if you check the max and min cell sizes, you will see where the negative sizes are. I have not used Fluent for over a year, but I think remeshing is the most likely solution. Try the Fluent forum....more helpful.
