liquid over a sphere

Hi all, I'm trying to simulate a slow moving film of a low density liquid flowing downward to a static sphere using VOF.
So far I have some results using a commercial code but I don't know if the results I get are correct (they look suspicious). Can anybody, please, lead me to some source (web-sites or articles) in which this phenomena is studied?. Some photos may be of great help. Thanks CFD Newbie. |

Correction: the liquid has low density and also low surface tension ( compared both with water).
Thanks CFD Newbie. |
