Hi,

I think the easiest tool might be Visual Basics if your code runs on PCs.

What about Perl/Tk. I used it for the same purpose and it is easy to learn and platform independend.

You may use the Visual Fortran. It's as convenient to use as Visual basic. Good luck.

There are too many ways to skin this particular cat. Easiest way my be to use Borland Kylix (i.e. Delphi (or Pascal) that runs on Linux) to write a GUI that edits an input file.

Java's JFC is pretty neat for building GUIs, etc. For look & feel, check out my attempt at learning Java: www.scs.gmu.edu/~nahmad/tekon2d/tekon2d.html

Hi Prasat, Java is platform independent - It will run on almost any platform. There are tons of tutorials and code examples on the web - Try search on JFC or Swing. You can download Java for Linux from java.sun.com.
