how can i calculate the lift and drag coefficient

when i read the the article about the cfd, i met the lift and drag curve ,but i don't know how to get them.please tell me. thanks

it all depends on what you have. If you have a physical model, then you need to use a wind tunnel, but if you have a line profile (airfoil), then you might want to go to THEORY OF WING SECTIONS by Ira. H Abbot, perhaps it has one matching your airfoil.

You can also look at Dean & Dalrymple book <<Water Wave Mechanics for Engineers and Scientists >>in Chapter 8, wave forces on bodies are discussed. These are all for non-viscid flows.
