Does anyone in the planet use Ansys?

Sure, but it is a bit weak in CFD. The only reason to use Ansys for CFD is the capability of fluid-structure interaction.

Also the ED version is/was limited in the number of elements. This is not a common practice in the rest of the CFD world.
