Hi

I am new in CFD. Actually I am doing a course in turbulence, and have some doubts.
If I have a channell of water, 0.1 deep, 0.5 wide, length 1 m, flux mean velocity 0.1 m/sec. How must be the spacial and the time discretization? In the boundary, which is the minumun size of the elements?
Thanks for your help

which method do you use to simulate the turbulent flow in the channel.
DNS(direct numerical simulation ) or RANS( Reynolds averaged N-S equations).
