On a 2D unstructured triangular mesh, there are different means (area weighted, distance weighted, etc.) to interpolate data (conserved quantities, rho, rho*u, rho*v, etc.) from cell centroids to nodes of the triangles. I was wondering if anyone knows of a publication in which these methods are compared or know from experience which method would be best.

Thanks.
