Fouling and CFD
Fouling of heat transfer surfaces in nuclear power reactors is complex. It is not a matter of merely assigning a thickness and thermal conductivity in performing thermal hydraulic analyses of nuclear reactors under accident conditions. Has anyone tried to perform such analyses for simple assumed cases as well as the realistic cases (variable thickness, porosity, compostion, adherence, redistribtuion under transients such as blowdown)?

Hi
I read your post and I'm interested in studying fouling with a cfd approach, so could you help me with some information please? |
