algo for ADI or fractional step scheme handling crossderivative terms

Hey all

i am trying to make a program that can handle the cross derivative terms for the diffusion part of the navier stokes equation. I want to do it implictly. So far i am not able to find any literature on how to handle the crossderivatives in ADI or fractional step method.. if anybody knows a good book or website or any code that gives details how to program this problem, let me know please. i need to see the algorithm that how to apply this. the books they just discuss it superficially not going in details. if there is a good detailed juornal paper tht wil be helpful too.. u can give the reference and ill get it from my library.

thanks

i recently derived it for me for a cartesian mesh case. Could you tell whether you calculation is unstructured grid or cartesian.

Hey
i am right now using cartesian corodinates but may be will use transformation for a curved geometery later.

send me an email, i will send you a ppt that derives adi and could be used for cartesian meshes. i used it till i decided to use multigrids for it because of large time steps.

Sent you a ppt, that has derivation of ADI for cartesian meshes.
you could follow it and derive it yourself to understand better.

Please check your bulk folder too. And you could now remove your email addy from your post.
