Labyrinth seal test cases
Looking for good labyrinth seal test cases (leakage flow rate, pressure drop, etc.) to compare with calculated results. Thank you in advance for any input.

Re: Labyrinth seal test cases
Hi, There is USSR prescribed algorithm for standard labyrinth seals design. I used it and got very good prediction of flow rates.

Stanislav - thanks for your comment. Would you be able to provide more information, for example, where to find this algorithm? Thanks in advance.

It is РТМ 108.020.33-86 «я лабиринтные стационарных паровых и газовых турбин и компрессоров. Проектирование и расчет» in English - 'Labyrinth seals for fixed steam and gas turbines and compressors. Design and calculations.

I have hard copy of Russian text(I think it was newer translated or put on Internet)
