PRESTO for Pressure?
 
Hey

What is PRESTO, How does it work??

I can not find any information on that scheme, does anyone have any information?

presto scheme fluent's manual says that it is similar to idea mentioned in patankar's book. I have read patankar's book but still have no clue how Fluent's pressure staggering works.

If i understand it is something to do with pressure gradient term in momentum equation being calculated by pressure stored at face centers rather than cell centers.

I could not find any other clue to presto so far. Though i am very interested in reading about its implementation.
