Saima is an unknown quantity at this point
Hi ,

I have a problem in which a heater is on leading edge of an airfoil and this airfoil is placed in Icing wind tunnel. Air is inside the tunnel at -5C. And water spray by using atomizer is also there.

I have to figure out what will be the temperature of airfoil at different places.

Could you tell me which model should i use? Currently i am using (solidification+VOF).

I want to know what is the liquidus and solidius temp in this situation?

It is very urgent.

Many Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Saima

santhanuj is on a distinguished road
liquidus (melting) and solidus(solidification) is the term used for alloys which represents the start and end of mushy zone. water i guess should be modeled as pure susbstance so the melting and the solidification temperature should be same. Please read some standard thermodynamics textbook
