Hello,
I am tryng 2 compare Fluent / Star CCM+ for CHT problems using polyhedral mesh for both. Fluent is taking actuallt lesser time. Shouldn't it be the other way around? |

By time do you mean physical (or computational time) or do you mean the number of iterations? What I have seen is that not only for CHT problems, but for other problems too Fluent converges faster than CCM+ (# of iterations).

Thanks for replying.
yaa, sure the computational time. and u r right that even the itrns are lesser. But qus is, I thought it would be the otherwise. Why is it so? Isn't CCM+ a cell vertex(node based) code? |
