Fluent/CCM+

Hello,
I am tryng 2 compare Fluent / Star CCM+ for CHT problems using polyhedral mesh for both. Fluent is taking actuallt lesser time. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

By time do you mean physical (or computational time) or do you mean the number of iterations? What I have seen is that not only for CHT problems, but for other problems too Fluent converges faster than CCM+ (# of iterations).

yaa, sure the computational time. and u r right that even the itrns are lesser.
But qus is, I thought it would be the otherwise. Why is it so?
Isn't CCM+ a cell vertex(node based) code?
