Hello, I can (using 1000 processors) solve the Navier-Stokes on a grid 1000x1000x1000 and more. But what to do then? How to draw any pictures having 4 billion numbers (u, v, w, p) for reports? Thanks.

If you want to represent flow variables like u,v,w,p, which do not have high gradients, can you interpolate the results on a coarser grid. Depending on what you are using for post-processing you may find options for this. I know packages like Tecplot have a option to interpolate the results on another 2D/3D grid.

For really large data sets, VisIt has the edge on scalability. There have been a few groups now using it to visualize DNS with 4096^3 nodes (that's 1 TB per time-step, in single precision on a rectilinear grid).
