Airfoil Geometry
 

Hi,

I'm a beginner to airfoil design. I have heard that the most common way to represent airfoil geometries is through Bezier curves. Can I know what's the motivation or advantages behind such a representation?

Any references of airfoil design with the airfoil represented in such fashion?
