CFD Package for building services industry

I have started a research project which partly involves the investigation of airflow in CFD software for use in the building services (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, etc...). Are there any packages that would be more suited to this application? I am working with a university and so an educational licence for Fluent may be obtainable as this work will not be used as a commercial venture. So this seems like the obvious choice? Where I am working is reluctant to move away from windows and so OpenFOAM is not an option. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Alex

How about ANSYS Airpak? Have you tried this?

vishyaroon, thanks, I haven't tried Airpak. Is this similar to FloVENT?

I have never used it. I keep hearing the names though. The other one I guess is CoolSim and Coolit, which are also used for data centers.

The combination of Gmsh for meshing, dolfyn as the solver and a postprocessor like VisIt or ParaView is an option. All of them are Open Source and run under windows.

See for example: http://www.dolfyn.net/dolfyn/gmsh/tutorial00.html
