CFD beginner
 
hai everybody,

I'm a beginner in CFD.Can u please suggest me the easiest software to beginwith ,I mean FLUENT/CFX.

hi, it is about license. do you have all of them? In fact, they are quite similar. I think CFX is pretty straight forward except that its pre-processor sucks as compared to Fluent. But its capability has been promoted a lot in new versions (CFX5). Fluent is bit more user-friendly, but you can have control for everything with CFX. hope this helps

I am studyng in a Premier Engiineering institute in India.My institute has CFX,FLUENT etc.That is why I questioned

hi, iam phd student and doing my research. i think u should start with fluent.
