Default Simple Method Problem

It is said that during the iteration cycle of Simple algorithm there is no gurantee that velocities will conserve mass over the computational domain as a whole.

I can not understand why it is true.

If we must correct the output verosity to conserve mass.

We must some correction such as

Uni,j=Uni-1,j*Min/Mout

But if we do this correction in the model where there is the cube in the fluid, the eddies at the back side of cube is vanished. Please let me know the reason and the remedy of this model.
