Periodic Boundary Condition Q
 

Hi all,

Geometry: 3D Air flow between 2 concentric cylinders. Inner cylinder is rotating.
I am only modeling a quarter of the geometry, so I want to use periodic BC's on the inlet and outlet.

I am using COMSOL.

Q: Do I need an initial solution ??

Q: What Periodic conditions do I impose ?
a)All velocities? and Pressure?
b)Which boundary is the source? the inlet or the outlet?

Q: If I want to add Energy, then in the periodic bdries is it OK to just add convective flux?
