backward-step

I have written a 2D code for incompressible Navier-Stokes equations using projection scheme. I need to validate it. Backward facing step for Re=100-800 forms a very good test case. Although I have compared my results with Armaly's data especially, the reattachment length. I still need to develop some more confidence on my code. So I needed data files for the entire flow field ie u, v, w, p in the entire domain. So that I can compare the performance of my code. So if any one has worked on this problem and has the data files for the entire field and is willing to share it, I would like to have them.

I shall be obliged.

See Ya..................

Hi, I am woring on DNS of combution, I have allready developed code, in which they used projection method for pressure veloity coupling,i referred some text books, none of these cleared me about the projection method, I know only SIMPLE algorithm , what exact the difference between simple and projection method, i will be very happy if u explain my doubt or suggest me some good papers or reference books. thanks

This paper might offer some help.

I was Armaly's student. I think you can directly get the data from the papers. Your case is only for laminar flow. It should be enough.
