Good day,

Does anybody know where i can download Qt 4.3 (I'm running ubuntu 9.04)? I looked on http://www.qtsoftware.com, but i can only find ver 4.5 there.... Am I looking in the right place?

regards
Johan

The problem is if you downgrade qt it might break many packages in Ubuntu. You might want to stay with the version of qt that you have. Do not bother about building paraFoam. Instead once you finished running the code run the foam2VTK utility to convert data to VTK format and open it with paraview.

Obviously this happend with my system.
I'm experiencing severe problems with "symbol lookup errors" after I compiled Qt 4.3.5 on my Kubuntu 9.04 system.

Can you tell me how this foam2VTK utility works?
Maybe than I will consider "(re)-upgrading" Qt to a version suitable for my distribution.

You run foamtoVTK at the command line and it creates a folder with name VTK. Open paraview and you can view the VTK files that has been created inside paraview.
