Hi.

Does anyone know whether airflow in a closed tube with an exit into a plenum is elliptic, hyperbolic or a parabolic?

Or in other words: Is before-mentioned flow at a point in the exit dependent on the downstream conditions?

It could be any of those - depends on the flow conditions.
