Hi,

- What is/are, in your opinion, the best Master degree(s) in CFD in the UK?
- And, the same question for Europe (UK included)?

Thanks

Hmmm ... already 66 views and no replies yet

I just would like to know if there are some universities in the UK, and in Europe in general, where their Master degrees in CFD are supposedly renowned for their reputation.

Cheers

I suppose that the Cranfield University and the Imperial College are two of them.

Chalmers University and Delft University of Technology are also an option.

Maybe someone else can give an advice about them

Thanks for your reply,

The Imperial College was actually the first institution I though would have one of the best Masters in CFD. But they don't have a Master exactly in CFD (http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/pgprospectus/whatcanyoustudy), they have one in " Computational Methods for Aeronautics, Flow Management and Fluid-Structure Interaction"

And Delft doesn't seem to have a Master in CFD: http://home.tudelft.nl/en/content-me...er-programmes/

Hi Rui

I think there is an interesting master in Computational mechanics, wich is a joint effort from: Universidat Politecnica de Catalunya(Es), Swansea University(UK), Universitat Stuttgart(Ge) and Ecole Centrale Nantes(Fr).

This can seem off the fluid, but can be choosen 4 fields, and fluids is one of them.

From Leeds Univ there is a master in CFD (http://www.engineering.leeds.ac.uk/pg/pgt/MSC-CFD.shtml)

I would say Cranfield and/or University of Southampton in the UK... Stuttgart is pretty good too, specifically for hypersonics I hear
