Temperature profiles for rectangular slab
 
I've been assigned a problem to find the temperature profiles for a rectangular slab of 150 mm X 100 mm dimensions for a material of steel. Temperatures at the left wall/border is 400C, at the top is 400C, right is 400C and at the bottom is 300C. I am also to make a plot of the temperature profile along the centerline.

I'm guessing it's a very simple problem. But since I'm quite new to the whole thing, I just don't know how to start. Can someone please help? I'm using FLUENT and GAMBIT. Thanx in advance.

your bc's are of the Dirichelet type, why cannot you pick a pencil and a sheet of paper and develop a closed form mathematical solution, if you cannot do that, look the book by Carslaw, the book by Necati or Arpaci for the solution.
If you still want to use FLUENT, then draw a rectangle in Gambit, mesh it and export the mesh to the solver. Run the solver without activating the momentum and continuity equations, just the energy equation. Does that sound simple for you?
