Default formula for tidal prediction

Hi everyone,

Thanks for looking at my post.

I would like to know the formula used in the prediction of tide level (above or below the mean sea level)..... Can anyone please kindly help me with the formula or at least direct me to the right articles?

Any suggestions or comments are welcomed.
