asymmetry factor (C1/3) Scattering phase function
Hello, When we approximate the F1,F2,F3,B1 and B2 scattering phase functions by a finite series of Legendre polynomials how will be introduced the asymmetry factor (C1/3) in the discretized form of the phase function. can one help me please?

Re: asymmetry factor (C1/3) Scattering phase funct
I am not quite sure I understand what you are asking. These (finite series) functions are defined and coefficients are given for some cases (with references for their calculation) in
T. K. Kim and H. S. Lee , Effect of Anisotropic Scattering on Radiative Heat Transfer in Two-Dimensional Rectangular Enclosures, Int. J. Heat Mass Transfer, vol. 31, pp. 1711-1721, 1988. I hope it helps, Rami |
