Figured I'd start a thread for people to post interesting projects they've done. Most of what I will post are toy models, since we obviously cannot post any proprietary customer projects.

This morning's fiddling: coming up with a method for pseudo-spark photography images.

Compare with:

Not perfect, but it will suffice.

These pictures were taken 30 s after the flow starts, steady state solutions are obtained, very little differences can be observed.
Remember, The Strouhal number is a weak function of the Reynolds number
3 and 4, the same previous two cases, but the pictures taken after 0.1 s so you can observe the differences
