Hi! I have plans on developing my own particle tracking program. I plan to use FLUENT/Gambit to create the mesh and calculate the fluid flow, and then export the mesh and the flow field to be able to use them in the particle tracking program. The main problem I have is how to contruct a mesh data-structure outside FLUENT based on the exported data (it is possible to export vertice positions etc. from FLUENT). The mesh I need to export consists of both tetraedral and hexaedral cells. I'm planning to use C++. Does anybody have any litterature to recommend on this area, or any advice on what data structure to use (and how to build it).
Any help is appreciated //David |
