CFD on Cross-Flow fans

Hello, this is my first post here.
I'm currently working on a Fan-Wing project and I'm interested in eventually performing a quasi-elementary CFD analysis of the cross-flow fan. Mind you, I'm a CFD novice, just recently I started reading Anderson's CFD text along with CFD Vol 1 by Klauss Hoffman. Do you guys have any tips on where I should start? Software I should be interested in? Textbooks etc? Is anyone experienced in performing CFD on cross flow fans? Thanks in advance, AROguy |
