Free flowing fluid driving a unit to rotate about its axis due to the configuration of internal channels will dicharge the fluid at a given velocity. If the fluid struck an object a few inches from the discharge nozzle and it was 90 degrees to the discharge of the velocity of the fluid, it would react accordingly. Thus the action would equal the reaction or V^2. Howevre if the angle of reaction was 60 degrees be V^2 times 0.6
