Looking for simple tet-mesh

Hi,

i'm looking for a simple mesh which is based on tets ! In the past i made most of my meshes with hexaedras...A simple change from hex to tet in blockMeshDict doenst work (what a surprise ;) ) so I need some examples to learn the construction.

p.s. : a simple cube or cylinder would be very nice and enough

Hi,

You can generate tet mesh easily using gmsh or netgen. If you are using OpenFOAM, then, OpenFOAM has utilities to convert gmsh/netgen format to OpenFOAM format. There are other tet meshers.

www.geuz.org (gmsh)
search sourceforge.net for netgen
