I am looking for a multiblock-structured grid for the Suddhoo-Hall 4 Element Airfoil, as being used for code validation in the NASA Langley/ICASE workshop on adaptive grids in 1994.
Has anyone got a structured grid for this test case, and maybe a small program to compute the exact potential flow solution ?! Thanks very much, Frank |

Here is the fine-grid-embedding-on-structured- grid PHOENICS simulation of the flow over a multi-element airfoil.

Dear Sergei,
thanks for the information. But actually, I am looking for the 4 element Suddhoo-Hall airfoil. I think there is a potential flow solution to it. It is not a realistic configuration, but interesting for code validation (since an exact potential flow solution exists). I think the 3 element airfoil on your web-page looks like the BAC 3-11 L1/T2 profile from the CFD challenge 96, CFD society of canada. Frank |

Hi Thread
I am Prashant from India. I have created mesh over multielement airfoil in Gridgen. I have imported in Open Foam. I want to solve this case in simple foam solver in SA model at M=.2. Please can you help me all the solving process and send me tutorial about this case. prashant kumar |
