fluid flow in venturi meter -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Tuhin Akash New Member Tuhin Akash Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 1 Rep Power: 0	i actually wanted to study the flow of fluids across simple structures viz. a venturi meter. so i heard that this can be done using the fluent software. but i have even heard that to use this fluent software we need to intially model and mesh the part using gambit and then import it on to fluent.Is this right? i know ansys 10 well enough. i wanted to know whether i can directly model and mesh the parts using anysys 10 and import it into fluent or else will i have to model it only using gambit. plz answer to this...it will be of a really great help to me....... thanking you in advance.
