Seeking someone to model micro waterjet nozzle
 

Hi,

I am working for a start-up in Silicon Valley.

We have an application with waterjets thru a 200 micron nozzle. The chamber on the water side makes a big difference to jet quality, i.e, whether a jet forms at all.

I need someone to take our solidworks drawings and model the jet.

Does anyone know of someone or a company qualified to do this?

What exactly do you want the modeling to investigate? There are a number of commerical vendors/ consultants who would be glad to assist you. Many of them even browse through the CFD forums. I would suggest you to decide on your budget, timeline and the exact kind of investigation necessary. That might help you a bit more to choose on what to do next.

Waterjet simulation through micro-jets can be performed using commerical/open source codes. What is the requirement of the project - predicting breakup or proving that the jet would be intact?
