knoken is on a distinguished road
Can anyone direct me to a CFD software package that can handle these three models?
  1. Liquid rocket combustion chamber: liquid fuel and oxidizer injection, subsequent vaporization and reaction; supersonic, compressible, steady-state, RSM turbulence model
  2. Hybrid rocket combustion chamber: liquid oxidizer injection, subsequent vaporization and reaction with fuel being pyrolyzed from a solid fuel grain; supersonic, compressible, steady-state, RSM turbulence model
  3. Gas phase single species injection, “acoustic” heating; supersonic, compressible, transient, S-A turbulence model
I haven't found any CFD codes that are well-equipped to model these three cases.
