zebG is on a distinguished road
Starting with a model which has a yPlus less than 9 when a surface is smooth, if I change the surface to 1mm roughness, the y+ increases by a factor of 10. Does this mean that the mesh needs to be refined again to reduce the y+ or does the inevitability of the high y+ reduce the importance?

Basically, has everyone found it to be the case that a low y+ as important with a smooth as a rough model?

I assume that the answer's yes, but just wanted to check before increasing simulation time significantly.
