Default Cavitation Model Validation

I am currently using Fluent 6.1 to model cavitation in a multi-orifice cage type control valve and I am looking for some published test data to help me validate my results.

More specifically, I am after surface pressure measurements or possibly flow visualisation showing cavitation bubble distribution in valves, orifice plates, perforated baffles or similar geometries.

I'd also be interested if anyone else has made similar comparisons (not just valves) between tests and the latest Fluent cavitation model.

I am lead to understand that the Fluent model is nominally identical to the model used in CFDRC CFD-ACE+, so any comments on this software would probably be relevant as well.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,

Neil
