HELP: diffusion & dispersion of particle method
 

About numerical diffusion & dispersion of particle method.

For schemes of FDM & FVM, the mthod of analysing numerical diffusion & dispersion was well developed. We can use some simple linear equations, such as Burgs.

But for those schemes based on particles methods, how to do numerical diffusion & dispersion analysis ?? Those schemes were developed from the 2D/3D Euler/NS equation directly. So it seems that we can not use some simple linear equations to analysis. And the FDM/FVM shcemes have fixed stenciles, while many particle-based schemes have no fixed stenciles.

Please give me some advices or ref. Thanks.
