turbulent energy

Default turbulent energy

i would like to know how can i work out how much turbulent energy is in each particualr length sclae of my tubulent field.

i know it is possible with spectral methods to find out the spectrun of the turbulnce, but what other ways are there of doing it?

any comments. thanks
