Hey there!
Does anyone know where I can get information about the Launder and Gibson RSTM turbulence model? Cheers, Claus |

You can look in the OpenFOAM code. They have implemented the RSTM model. I have not come across Wilcox or Pope having a discussion on that topic.

The Gibson-Launder RSTM model is the same as the LRR-IP model but uses wall reflection terms. These (wall reflection terms) are listed in Pope's textbook, and the rationale behind them is described as well (The book is not with me now, but if you can't find it, I can point you to the page number later).
Alternatively, you can have a look at the original paper: Gibson, M.M. & Launder, B.E., 1978. Ground effects on pressure fluctuations in the atmospheric boundary layer. Journal of Fluid Mechanics Digital Archive, 86(03), 491-511. |
