Hi, guys,
Did you have an experience on the simulation of a cell growth in a Newtonian or Non-Newtonian fluid when the bubble interactions are considered? In view of its irregular geometry during the bubble deformation with time, I decide to use FEM to handle this problem. Could you give me a little hint (e.g. ideas, references, suggestions) on the following issues? 1) How to apply the boundary conditions in a simplified 2-D case that a center bubble is growing and interacting with four growing neighbor bubbles, if the computational domain is discretized by deducing a circle from a square? 2) Which method is better while tracking and reconstructing the movement of bubble surface? MAC, VOF or the Level-set? Thanks Robert |
