Hi, I have been running our code up to 1.5GB RAM size in my computer. It has 2.56GB RAM available. I have tried unsuccesfully to run a 2.06GB simulation and Windows XP gives the error: it is not a win32 application. Does anyone know how to make Windows XP go over 2GB RAM?

Thanks!!

Hola

What's the (company) name of the Fortran compiler your're using in Windows XP?

If I remember correctly, Windows will only allow 2GB max for a single process... you may have to use Linux or a 64bit CPU/OS to exceed this limit (e.g., maybe try a Athlon 64 / Opteron running 64bit Linux, or a 64bit Sun/HP Unix workstation).

Thanks Marcus. I am going to use Linux. It seems like the best short term solution.
