hey guys.I am pratik here, the event manager of event Furor( CFD event at Quark 2010) going to be held at Bits Pilani Goa Campus.The link for the event is www.bits-quark.org/furor. The first round questions have already been put up. Kindly feel free to contact me if you have any doubts. My email is prat26@gmail.com. The final round will be held at Quark. The people will be using Ansys software in the final round. In first round the participants can use any software to submit their solutions. Kindly also take a look on the rules. Thank you

hi.. can u pls specify the last date to submit the solution for the furor event and how 2 register for it? its nt specified in the website.... and the "register" link displays that " you are not authorized to access the location".. wat 2 do?

hey the last date for submission of results is 10th january to any one of the mail ids specified. And ya i will look into that problem. Thanks for informing me.

hey try one thing...first register for quark10 in main register link and then try to register for the event. If still some problem persists, tell me and i will look into the matter.

thank u .. it worked.
a few doubts:- 1)Do v have to solve only 1 problem in the give three or can we solve more than one... if so what will be the selection criteria?pls. clarify.. time is short. 2) in problem (3) of flow over cylinder... what is the fluid to be taken in the simulation (water etc.) can we assume any working fluid and perform the simulation? sorry 2 disturb u,,,, but Pls. clarify at the earliest time is short..thanks in advance |

ya u have to solve any one problem (not more than one). Two problems solved will be disqualified. ya u can assume any fluid u want.
