Favre average
 

Hello everyone,

I'm soliciting your help about the "Favre average", I know it's well adapted for compressible flows, since it takes into account the inertial nature of the differents phenomenons (It's a mass-weighted average), but I need to know its drawbacks and its limits in general applications.
