Hi everyone,

As part of my own research I have created two Python packages that others might be interested in using. They are PyWENO and PyBLAW.

PyWENO is a Python implementation of WENO (Weighted Essentially Non-oscillatory) approximations over one-dimensional unstructured (non-uniform) grids.

PyBLAW is a lightweight Python framework for solving one-dimensional systems of hyperbolic balance laws.

Both packages are released under BSD style licenses. Feedback and contributions are welcome.
